Attorney Profile
Ian Bezpalko has experience in
copyright work and internet law. He is a member of the New Mexico
and Washington, D.C., Bars. Mr. Bezpalko, a Phi Beta Kappa, has B.A. degrees in
History and Philosophy, and a Master's degree in Political Science from
the University of New Mexico. He received his J.D. degree from
the University of New Mexico School of Law.
While in law school, Mr. Bezpalko became Citations Editor for the
Natural Resources Journal. He interned as clerk for the
University Counsel's Office at UNM and acted as assistant to UNM School of Law
faculty. He is author of The
Deep Seabed: Customary Law Codified
(published 2004 in Natural Resources Journal, v. 44, No. 3) and upon graduation received the ABA
Section of
Intellectual Property Law/Bureau of National Affairs award for
Excellence in the Study of Intellectual Property Law.
Mr. Bezpalko is a member of the Intellectual Property section of the
ABA, a member of the Albuquerque Bar Association, and a member of
the American Intellectual Property Law Association. He is active
in the
New Mexico State Bar as a member of the Law Office Management Committee, co-chair of the Technology Committee, and board member of the Solo Section.
